Castle's Grand Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea originates from the era when British women of the upper classes accompanied their men to India. In the absence of other activities, and since servants took care of the household work, they gathered with other women in the same situation, and that is how the tradition began. An Afternoon Tea session was often introduced by a glass of champagne and oftentimes continued for many hours.

Afternoon Tea of today is a small meal in itself, just as it was back then. There are canapés, two varieties of scones, different cheeses, marmalades and lemon curd, different cakes, desserts, and many other delicates on the buffet. We serve the black teas Earl Grey and Söders Höjder in tea samovars. If you want coffee instead, we will of course accommodate that. We also serve green and red tea blends should you rather prefer that.

We recommend making reservations in advance at +46 16 428416. The price is SEK 235:- per person.
