Oh well. What's a ball at the castle..
..after all I suppose it would be frightfully dull, and boring, and.. completely... Completely wonderful!
A castle party could take many forms. It could be a wedding party for larger or smaller groups. A graceful 18th century rococo-style party. A joyous viking dinner in the centuries old cellar vaults.
It could also be a no-frills buffet dinner with good friends. Finding a reason to celebrate is often simple - there are birthdays, jubilees, family gatherings, launch advertisings, new hirings, employment awards, etc. Well, one can even celebrate the privilege of working with pleasant colleagues.
The very place of the party is no doubt very important. A graceful hall at the castle provides for a more formal setting, whereas the coziness of the cellar vaults accommodates a more informal impression. The various halls and vaults can of course also be decorated to fulfill a particular purpose.
The castle has several well composed party menus to offer. And, our pastry chef makes the most delicious and beautiful cakes that are always very much appreciated.
We would recommend having our cannoneers firing 17th century gun salutes when the guests have gathered in front of the castle for a welcoming drink. That is a very enjoyable and memorable introduction to the evening.
