The Castle Kitchen Garden

We are particularly proud of our own Castle Kitchen Garden that supplies us with a wide variety of ecological vegetables, herbs, potatoes, etc. The Castle Kitchen is operated by the city's social service department.
 
We also have our own mushroom pickers that supply our kitchen with chanterelles, etc., the fisherman Magnus who supplies us with e.g. pike perch from Lake Mälaren, and not to forget, the micro-brewery Eskilstuna Ölkultur who makes our own unpasteurized and unfiltered beer.
 
Sundbyholm Castle is ECO labeled. That means that we judge the environmental effects of our operations from several aspects; energy and water usage, chemicals used, recycling and reuse of waste products. Sundbyholm Castle operates with a very stringent environmental and climate policy.
