Castle's Romantic Weekend Menu

The current weekend menu is enjoyed by our weekend and golf guests. If you are staying with us for two nights, the romantic weekend menu is typically served during Saturday night, whereas another menu is served during Friday night.
 
Our menus follow the four seasons, and even change within the seasons. In our weekend packages you could choose one main course and three other courses from the starters and desserts below.

June, July and August


Starters

Öjebytoast, with crayfish, caraway seed and Västerbotten cheese 

Carpaccio, served with truffle mayonnaise, pistou and ruccola 


Main courses

Oven baked halibut, served with hand peeled shrimps, horse-radish, fried butter and potatoes

Sirloin steak, served with red wine sauce, tarragon emulsion, seasonal vegetables and potato cake   


Desserts

Strawberries, served with elderberry sorbet, lime and whipped cream

Passionfruit tarte, with Italian meringue and passion fruit jelly

Our Swedish farm cheeses with fig marmalade,
served with the castle’s bread
